My experience, so take that for what it's worth, the 'savings' depend on the route & specific flights you choose. It may behoove you to check competing sites like Kayak, Priceline, etc. to make sure you're getting the best deal possible. YMMV

Another caveat. "Fly Confirmed for Even Less," tickets are cheaper but are non-refundable and non-changeable. Even the "Fly Confirmed for Less," tickets may non-refundable depending on various hidden factors. Also, if you change dates you will notice that the new tickets are considerably more expensive due to the fact that "hidden" change fees have been applied.
