I say good for her, and I sincerely mean that. We all have dreams and aspirations, and we all follow different paths. Some of us are dealt a better hand. That's just the way it is. It is important to look at ourselves with pride. I started flying in the mid 90s and have had my share of fights and struggles to get my dream job. For 20 years I was hopping for the day I would receive an employement letter at DAL. I finally did two days ago (Late Oct interview for your information;-)). But I would trade all this experience for nothing. It is this path we take which ultimately brings about a certain maturity and humility. Experience shifts paradigms. Mine made me more patient, enlightened, empathetic and aware.
By the way, the youngest captain I flew with, at my current company, is 33 years old....on a Boeing 777. I said to him "Good for you, enjoy, and be thankful", and I meant it.
