Sorry to disappoint you. I am against lowering the standard which has historically been applied to flag carriers. I am particularly against preferences being given to some ALPA members over other ALPA members on the basis of pay concessions.

There would seem to be a whole host of common sense reasons for not wanting to lower the standards of our profession. Certainly one reason we can likely agree on is that lowering standards make it more difficult to justify the pay we negotiate.
