The military of today is NOT the military of years ago. I do wholeheartedly appreciate everyone's military service, as I also appreciate teachers, police, and firefighters. How many have thanked you for your service? How many of the above mentioned have YOU taken the time to thank? You reek of a typical brain-washed, koolaid drunk fighter pilot who expects everyone around you to worship you and be forever in your debt. I do know first hand what it means to watch others around me die, as well as be at risk yourself. At the same time . . . those were all my choices, and no one owes me anything. Stop glorifying yourself, and realize that we all have a role to play, and you should think about being just a bit more appreciative to those who serve around you be it civilian or military.

You want to act annoyingly arrogant? Continue your service for as long as you can, and when you are forced out, get a cushy contract consultant job for the DOD. You want to continue a new career in the airlines? Get humble, get appreciative, and get over yourself, and you will receive a great deal of respect in return. Out.
