FLL is a very busy single runway airport. I'm not sure if SWA can land on the smaller crossing runway. FLL already plagued with delays due to this runway configuration. Makes me wonder what the advantages were over other Florida airports.




The runway construction will be completed late 2014, so that will make it 2 good sized runways. I'm not sure if that small crossing runway will be brought back (it is closed now)
