Worked for me also, reasons--nice find Saw! I've always tried the wide and quit if not avail. Hopefully what I saw sticks.
However, I did see something I'm going to have to guard against in my bids--with all these 30 hour layos, they have BUILT IN 7 DAY rest, and they can just back-to-back you! Before, it was block hours in 7 days (30 in 7), which pretty much forced them to give you 1 or 2 days off after a 3 or 4 day, so the next 3 or 4 day didn't exceed 30in7. That's gone now, they just have to show 30 hours of rest in 7 days (essentially), so they can just bang trips right against each other! They've got me away from home 9 days in a row, domestic commuter! All trips commutable home, but CAN'T actually go home due to next trip starting next day... all legal now because every trip has a 30 hour layo in it!
So how's that "anti fatigue FAR" working out for us? 9 days of flying, washing my underwear in the sink, 3 long legs a day when flying. I'm sure I'll be super on day 8 and 9. I keep looking thinking there must be a rule violated here, but it appears they can fly you as much as they want basically so long as you get an impossible to attune to 30 hour layo with a 0200 your-time wake for a 3 leg final day... Hopefully I'll be able to drop one of these trips!
