The specifics are I have 3 reserve days at the end of dec and 6 days of work starting on the 1st, which violates the 30 in 168 rest rule. I'm hoping they drop a reserve day to comply, but if they fly me and drop part of a January trip am I pay protected in any way?
I would encourage everyone to read FAR 117 and the documents put out by DALPA. judging by some posts on here some have not even glanced at the material. One post mentioned the elimination of 30 and 7 allowing back to back 4 day trips as a example. The poster appeared to have no idea that it was replaced with max time on duty weekly.
In the above situation the 30 hour rule may not apply. I don't have my laptop with me but DALPA put out that some rules will not look back into DEC such as 100 in 28 days. I would find that briefing and research it to prevent surprises.
