I was merely pointing out that the PSA guys/gals will more than likely, as a direct result of this contract...get to a Major 2 years ahead of thier peers at larger regionals such as Skywest or Expressjet or Republic. That 2 years makes ALL the difference in the world QOL wise for the rest of their careers, but most importantly they will be SR Widebody Captains for 2 additional years at the END of thier careers. At today's payscales that is worth around $500,000.

Again, please explain how this is a dumb decision? Sounds like a great investment to me! I'd GLADLEY forgo $5-10k a year now for a couple years to turn it into half a mil.

To each his own though. Stick by your guns and you show'em what's right. There is only one rule in this career field: Maximum money for the least amount of work and the best QOL along the way.
