I expect the fast food workers to be neat and clean in their uniforms too , at least out front where the public sees them as the face (representatives) of the company.
I expect some of our military's youngest enlisted who are on food stamps to be within regulations too.
Just looking for reasons to not be professional in your appearance on the job is just......well.....unprofessional.
