Ladies and Gentlemen,

If nothing else has been made clear in the past 740 + pages of this thread this one thing should have been as clear as crystal having been shouted from the rooftops: Change is certain, it will happen daily, and it is to be expected. It's the nature of things in the ACMI world that what you saw in concrete at breakfast has changed completely by lunchtime. This won't change and it will be a fact of life if you join us. I hope you do join us, nonetheless. The professionalism of folks I've seen posting here is impressive and I'd like nothing better than to fly with you from Bufuwazoo to Yingzhang and laugh over a brew or two in Yingzhang about the adventures encountered along the way! The one important thing to glean from all the postings along the way is that nothing, NOTHING in this business is written in stone. It will change. Often that has meant change for the better; sometime it has meant change for the worse.

The important thing is to understand before jumping into the water is that this isn't an anomaly. This is daily life here at Atlas. I enjoy very much the adventure of waking up, checking my schedule to see what I'm actually doing in the next couple days, and seeing that change by the time I reach the next destination. If a stringent adherence to a set schedule is imperative to anyone then this is probably not the place for them to be. If, on the other hand, one can roll with the flow and accept things as they are then this can be a rewarding place to hang your hat.

Between the retirements coming up, the new business being sought, and the folks that do plan on leaving for the more structured life of Delta, United and the rest it surely looks like there will be openings for those who would like to live this life. I hope to fly with you soon!
