When this last proposal came out to the pilots, I wasn't one bit surprised at all. I've been trying to tell guys when flying, not to expect anything good this time around. MGMT put it out there to see if it would stick, and IT WON'T!! We as pilots need to stand strong here. I've been saying this for a while and as much as some guys don't want to believe that there is a pilot shortage, there is definitely one at the regional level. MGMT knows that, and that is why they are trying to shove these sub par, long term contracts down our throat! MGMT knows that pilots at the regional level are going to become few and far between and will have to raise the bar in order to attract pilots to work there. I did not get into this business to sell myself out along with everyone else. We can make this job a career again if we can get away from the short sighted, shiny jet syndrome. Our time will come! Vote No!!!!! Don't sell each other out!
