Unfortunately, up till today the regional industry has been a self serving industry. For once the regional pilot group in general has a shot to fight back with big numbers.

One thing to think about tho, why have regionals been a stepping stone to majors until now? What made them a stepping stone?

When I read posts about making conditions good enough at regionals to make it a career job, are we honestly trying to improve conditions up to a level where most can stay the rest of our working days at regional X, or we just want to push up the envelope as high as we can so conditions are as best as we can (read good enough to stay till retirement) but still bail out after we get the magical 1000 PIC jet?

I despise filthy CEOs who get rich off of regional pilots' cheap labor, as well as hipocritical unions who play both sides, major airline and the regional airline that feeds them.

I just wonder where the thin line lays...

It's been time to say FU to management for a while.
