ALPA expected Delta to grow into the new balance with AZ added. Management decided:
  • Financial turbulence in Europe
  • Air France's growth and near refusal to comply with capacity restraint
  • Aircraft mod line constraints while Air France was adding Widebodies
Was more important than maintaining good faith with it's employees.

Not making excuses for management. If they are in non compliance ALPA will hold them to account. I've waited three years for this window to close. It closes in 90 days.
