With that said it was a very difficult choice and I can certainly understand why people don't want ALPA at the regional level. It has a VERY poor track record (BTDT, have the tie pin), and is probably a conflict of interest as long as the regional business model exists in it's current form.
ALPA National and the big legacy pilot groups could probably fix this once and for all by insisting that majors one-list and common-carrier their regional pilots. Then the die-hard anti-union types (there are a few, and some are just not team players) could chose to toe the line or find a new job. Wouldn't be free in the short term though, would probably cost mainline guys a buck or two an hour...
Why don't you either choose to be a MOD
OR a contributor. I got the MIL MOD getting upset because he doesn't like my opinions on the MIL.... he doesn't seem to know the difference between flamebait and the truth.
Rejecting ALPA and using KCM is egregious.... It is disrespectful to all of us... but that is ok, yet when I respond not even in kind... you threaten to ban me... while you are being personally involved....
