A 30 year old hired this year will be an MD-88 captain by age 38. That should make all the newbies feel good.......those guys in 00-01 thought the same thing the day they got hired though.
If that's true, I'm looking at a 14 year upgrade. I will not commute to New York though so I stand by my 16 year upgrade statement. I still think I have 10 years to go.
