Prior work for Skywest as a ramper will almost definitely give you an advantage when it comes to getting an interview. If there happens to be something on your file about not giving a full two weeks notice they'll let you explain it in the interview. I'm pretty sure that rampers and gate agents quitting with less than two weeks notice is probably a pretty common thing. If it happened 23 years ago I doubt there's any kind of record of it.

A regional would be crazy not to at least interview a pilot who 23 years ago only gave 12 days notice before quitting..
