Good post, let me give you something to shoot for, as HAL's contract is now going on 4 years old. We set the bar for the DAL contract shortly after ours and we negotiate a new one in 1 year and are aiming to set the bar higher....

Minimum duty period credit: None
HAL ... 4.25 (industry leading now up to 5)

401k Match and eligibility:100% first 2% then 50% for next 3% for a total of 5% match
HAL .... 15% gross, no match needed. (Industry leading now 16%)

Per Diem: $1
$2.50 CONUS and International varies from $3.50-$5.21 depending

Deadhead pay agreement $20/hr
Full pay for deadhead, and 1st Class seating if over 2 hours.

Pilots won't be able to Bid for Training
Bidding allowed, and 1 instructor can be no-listed

Hours of Service-11 days off for lineholders, 10 for reserves
Long-Call Reserve program - none
12 days off min for Res & Line Holder, 75 hours guarantee both
Long Call res goes into effect Jan 4th.

We have PTO for both sick and vacation...

year 2-3 ... 35 hours a year
year 4-6 ... 45 hours a year
year 7+ ... 52 hours a year

Sick calls paid at 100% if it brings you under the 70 hour guarantee. If over 70 hours you must use PTO. See above.

Sick is at 7.50 hrs/mo, max 1080 hours accrued. IF you use more than 270 consecutive hours for sick call, then the accrual rate increases to 10hr/mo upon return until your sick back is whole again.

Sick call is thru Etna via website or automated phone. Doctors note may be required if longer than 7 days.

Vacation: It's quite complex, but in a nutshell..

year 1 & 2 = 15 days
year 3 = 16 days
year 5 = 21 days
year 10 = 23 days
year 12 = 27 days
year 15 = 29 days
year 20 = 33 days
year 25 = 38 days

Must take 7 days every year min.

Bid is done after Vacation award, and conflicting trips can be dropped.

Junior Assignment Pay: straight pay
Double Time

Voluntary Open Time Pick-Up: straight pay
Same

Critical Pay: straight pay
Double Time

Newhire training pay -- $2000/mo and no hotel provided.
$36/hr x 75 hours min

Bid Conflicts unpaid. Must re-bid on another day off.
Fully Paid

Currently pushing close to a 6 year upgrade. Planned growth at 3-4 aircraft per year.
Growth and career potential about the same.

VERY IMPORTANT, and many pilot's don't look closely at this is our medical benefits are amazing... co-pays are a max of 10% of the doctor's fee for the visit (usually ends up being $12-18), and maxed at $25, most brand name prescription drugs are $5-8/month, Emergency room $50, Hospital admittance $250, with a $5000 LIFETIME, not annual, limit of out of pocket costs for a medical condition. Monthly cost for a family plan with dental and vision is about $150.

Good info, It's good for people to see what they're getting into. I also hope you guys will have the unity to get what you deserve! As I hope we do the same in 2015 to catch up to the UAL/DAL/AA contracts..
