Well now I'm REALLY depressed, but thanks for the info CATIII. I also hope for the best, but knowing the mindset of those at the top (think Valujet), it will take a strike to get even modest improvements. I fear apathy will set in with the ranks as they turn their focus from improving this place to pursuing other carriers.
I hear you brotha... but get the word out, and take it from me... you're not at that "other carrier" until you're AT THAT OTHER CARRIER.... Tell the guys to dig their heals in and brace for a strike... If you just leave Allegiant and then have to compete with their crappy work rules (read high productivity) you're just being short sighted and shooting your career in the foot!
You have to raise EVERYTHING there to at least Spirit airlines level, it's better for all of us, and better for the profession!
