ok, so once again, we are talking about a bunch of kids wanting to show their thanks to some veterans and suddenly everything from the "Official Rules" to "PC" to the Constitution gets brought into the conversation. Can we just say there is too much thinking going on here. What ever happened to just doing something because you want to be nice? A previous post mentioned that most military vets, no matter their religion, would love the fact that a child is showing appreciation and I think that would be the case 99% of the time, but we have to bend over to be PC for the 1%. It's Christmas, it occurs every year on December 25th. I mean what is this demonstrating to these children about kindness? Will they take away from this experience that it's too much trouble to be kind? We all suffer from this sort of BS.
