You know what, at this point I am convinced its only going to get worse, at least for the next month with 117 and the CCS changeover. It hard to believe that anything could make Unimatic seem desirable.
This week has been an eye opener for sure. No hotels? Nothing listed on trip pairing? Self service transp to hotels? We fly, they manage. We'll be lucky if we're not in the news soon.
DAL is on the forward horizon and pulling away. AAL will soon be in the rearview with a bullet.
I had a pairing today where the transpo company was planning to take me to the Westin and the pairing said Hilton. There was no listing for the limo company. Took me a 15 minute call with skeds to discover that I was supposed to be staying at the Westin. The guy on the phone said that if the Westin was full I was supposed to walk to the Hilton. I thought it was silly but hey, maybe they're right next to each other. No...they're like a mile apart. Westin had no room...the limo driver was nice enough to drive me without asking her boss or perhaps I'd be lost somewhere in LA dragging my Vortex 2 trying to find out where "walk a mile to a hotel with vacancy" is in the contract.
