What happens if they give you a short call reserve assignment before 1500 base time on the last day off? If I am reading the contract right you have to check at 1500 and if given a short call they can use you as early as 0200 for a 0600 departure (10ish hours rest)? If given a short call after 1500 then you don't answer your phone and you can't be used until later that day. I hope I'm reading it wrong and I can get away from them giving me that short call day one back. Please someone clarify...I read the email from ALPA.
