Anything is
possible. Whether you'll like it or not is a completely different story. When you're junior, it definately eats up a lot of your time as you will get low time, uncommutable trips or at worst be on reserve. That means you spend half the day before a trip commuting up, and half the day after commuting down. All told, you could have 2 days off in a row and spend barely 24 hours there...and most of that will be eaten up by getting ready to head off for the next trip.
