It is what it is… however it's just at the beginning, more chances and hiring will happen in 2013 (patience is key-- -I know its rough!). Things and qualification will change as time goes on.

I heard directly from someone very reliable, that one must 1) pass the assessment and then 2) have the computer spit out your name (based on whatever they have chosen to make a person competitive) for the next step which is the video interview….. those two steps must be accomplished on your own merit. The internal help matters once you have been invited for a face-to-face interview, but not until then.

Always a few exceptions I am sure, but that is how they are doing it and keeping it as fair as possible. But not even an executive can get someone pulled from the stack without those two things happening first through whoever point system has been set up within the Pilot Credentials application.

Again, always a few but rare exemptions I would imagine … but its not the norm at all. It all depends on what they have given the weight to in the scoring.
