Whats the scoop on this latest memo?

"Pilots on reserve not previously notified of a trip assignment for the following day are required to check their schedules after 1500 each day. If you are on your last day off prior to reserve, the requirement to check your schedule is shifted to a window sometime between 1800 - 2359"

So your at home on your last day off as a reservist, a commuter, and the company now wants you go check your schedule from 6pm - MIDNIGHT??? So then they can assign 2am reserve short call to you at the last minute?
