Keep us posted on what you find out, or experience in February. I know in 2010 they did get to participate in AEs prior to showing up for training. There was some confusion on Delta's end as to whether they were going to have to go to training on their initial aircraft, prior to being trained on their AE awarded aircraft. Delta eventually came to their senses, but multiple guys got 3 to 4 months off between indoc and starting initial training on the aircraft they were awarded by the AE they were able to participate in.

Obviously the new hire seat lock is new since then.
