Gents, Phrog guy here too, although I transitioned to the "dark side" (CVN life, MH-60S). At least I got to be a VERTREP DET OIC and not have to do PG all that much. I tell people that I am a 46 pilot that transitioned to the 60. I will also be a 46 Bubba first no matter what.

Disclaimer: I mean no disrespect to legacy HS Helo guys (hard deployments). I have done both and there is no comparison, sorry…..my opinion which I believe is fact. I was one of the "lucky" ones to fly like a HC guy in a HS type squadron once they became HSC.
