I realize I'm splitting hairs, but the law raising the minimum wage passed in the city of Seatac, which is where the airport is located. Several businesses, Alaska Airlines among them, fought the wage increase on the premise that the airport is under the jurisdiction of the Port of Seattle and therefore is exempt from the new law.
