I agree (and stated) there are substantial issues with the 737 AQP program that have existed forever. However, many of the training scheduling snafus are resulting from the fact that there is no more day to day support in the building to handle the inevitable issues that crop up. That was a post merger change that was ill advised, especially for training the largest fleet in the airline.
