In 1981, the air traffic controllers went on strike, Delta stopped hiring.
In 1991, Sadam invaded Kuwait, Delta stopped hiring.
In 2001, we had 9-11, Delta stopped hiring.
I guess there were no black swans available for 2011 so we may be over due.
But yeah, anything bad could happen, and if it does, I guarantee, Delta will stop hiring.
