If so, that is why pilots will not be excused from cockpits. Computers can only do so much and have a very limited range of options.

In the case of auto correct or spell check, it would never catch a mistake such as this because the parameters for a correct spelling have been met even though your typing is most certainly wrong.

If you did not use any form of auto correct or spell check and just used an everyday laptop, and this was just a case of "pilot error", then consider me your co-pilot who was able to correct a mistake.. Unlike your computer, IPad or smart phone which just let the plane fly into the ground because parameters were met..
