If you voted against that cram down, good for you. If you voted for it, well, I would not tell your friends in our profession. They many still be friendly, but ... you did harm a lot of other pilots who are being forced to follow your lead.

For F*&k"s sake!

DELTA MANAGEMENT DID THE INDUSTRY HARM!!!!

It is amazing the amount of time that is spent blaming the wrong people. Where is the anger at your own management that caused this mess in the first place?

Pinnacle Pilots didn't put the company in bankruptcy. Delta and their pathetic hand-me-down Ceo Phil and Spanjers did. They purposely bankrupted us because it was a win win. They get out of CRJ leases. Then, if we vote yes: new contract with lower wages. We vote no: they get even lower wages.

Then all the stupid pilots from the other airlines will be mad at that group of pilots instead of the people that actually caused the mess in the first place; Management! Divide and conquer.

I voted yes. (For the first time in my 14 year career. I didn't even vote yes for the pay raise during the merger because I didn't think it was enough)

It wasn't for an interview.

It wasn't to save my job.

It wasn't to keep the doors open.

It wasn't to purposefully screw the industry.

IT WAS TO KEEP AN EVEN SHI*&ER BANCRUPTCY CONTRACT OUT OF THE INDUSTRY!
PERIOD!

I am sick off all the people on this board that live in fantasy land where voting no would have lead to something better.

There was bad and worse. I chose bad.

Furthermore, today's XJT vote actually proves our vote didn't effect anything.

I applaud them too.

However, this is also part of Delta's plan. (Again, they are making this industry miserable.)

Watch, within the next 6 months the fleet plan for CRJ's will change (which it was going to anyway). They will say it is because XJT's costs are too high. In reality, they always wanted to get rid of their airplanes first because they are older. Within the next year, there will be an announcement that it is XJT losing 200's and Endeavor will keep some. But XJT pilots will blame Endeavor pilots instead of Delta management.

Proof again that Delta managers are much smarter than pilots.

But go ahead, keep feeding into management's game. Good for you.
