Regarding the initial assignment, might I have the choice of where to go, or is it given to me?

Another question: Since I am military, all of my flying (other than the 62.1 hours that I flew for my PPL) has been recorded at the HARM. If I were to check out my HARM file, burn a copy of my form 8 and bring it with me to the interview, would that be a sufficient logbook review?
