With the new regulation from FAR 117, you can't fly over 100 hours in a rolling 28 days. Expect this to have an impact on your schedule. If you're a line holder, then mostly an 80-85 hour line. However, keep in mind that if you pick up flying it will affect your PBS schedule for the next month because of the 100/28 rule. So you'll get some low flying trips to counteract what you picked up the previous month. That being said, expect an 80-85 hour credit per month as a line holder on A320, B737. As far as 76T I have no idea.

With the 777 most pilots on reserve are working 1 or 2 trips a month in IAH. So they get 18-20 days off. Scheduling will shift you to short call now unfortunately to this latest contract, so that will chew up a couple more of your days off unless you live local, then it's a non-factor.

Moral of this story is this. Bid a widebody reserve and go for days off. Bid a narrow body and fly more and have around 14 days off. All depends on what you value in life. Time off living with a cell phone on hand at home with the family (assuming you live local or can commute in from long call) or a flying line. You get to decide...
