Incorrect. You cannot WS/GS over the entire footprint of the trip you dropped with an APD, even if you only specified one day for the APD.
I don't think this is correct. I just dropped an entire 4 day by APD one day then picked up a white slip overlying the last two days of the dropped trip. You cannot pick up anything on your APD day, however.
