Other than the airplanes coming back to us, and the jobs that it creates (upgrades and new hires), I'm not at all glad to see this happening...and we'll see how this plays out over the next few months.
I'm thinking that some or all of these will be replacement planes for our older and less reliable 744's. The reliability, fuel, and maintenance savings from Boeing may be enough to offset the higher price of the -8's.
