Saw a SWA plane get yelled at in ATL for doing just that. Must have rolled 10 feet before calling. Ramp jumped on them for not calling first and made them sit there while other planes taxied around them. FWIW, I've seen it happen to other airlines too.
Anyone know anything about a SWA/Atlanta tower incident that somehow seems to be downlow/hush-hush/swept under the rug? I'd repeat it but I don't want to spread total BS if it's just that. Conversely, if it did happen, I can't believe it hasn't spread like wildfire.
