I'm an old 135 dog. The lack of a schedule & always being on call is kinda harsh and gets old. It results in AIDS: (Aviation induced divorce syndrome) too.
When I see a Netjets crew, I say to myself, "Now there are some fellas who can have a life....."
I'm not complaining. I'm really thankful for what I've got. I'll probably still be at it beyond 65 too like many of the senior Netjets guys.
If there is a downside to working a lot less while making more, it might be that some fellas, myself included, are just happier flying more often.
Junglejett was right on though about what really matters.
