Augmented crew which requires 2 hour rest opportunity in the second half of the FDP. If I look at my schedule which has a 2hr block time flight (which includes taxi in/out). Is it legal and and does it meet the requirement for the rest opportunity. My opinion is the 2 hr rest opportunity should be at cruise. This now begs the question for scheduling purposes what should the dispatcher using for departure (time to top of climb) and arrival (from top of decent) times. I am looking for your thoughts and inputs.
