Fooling Wall Street makes no sense. They could care less about a couple hundred first year pilots in a 12000 pilot airline. That wouldn't even register on the stock price. It worked so well last time, why not play it again?
I was told by my ATL Capt. Rep, if we vote Yes on C2012, the hiring will start in fall of 2012, and we'll never see the 3% raises, because we'll be back in contract negotiations for the next merger by March of 2013....
So, how's that working out for you now?
Don't forget about giving up 33% of your profit sharing for that 3% raise.
