Lot of talk about majors taking back the flying but what's to stop them from farming out more flying? Why won't we see A320s, 737s and E190s at a regional level for 1/4 the wage? You will always have SJS people who will fly for less and if there really is going to be a shortage why not just cut the jobs you need at the major level and outsource more of it, while keeping your costs down. Seems to me like this is something the corporate types would love to do. Have only majors cover the transcon and international flying while everything between is outsourced for less.

I am just pessimistic, cheer me up.
