HSV. Trips start on HSV, but can end anywhere. Think mostly longer trips.
CVG. Believe most trips start and end in base...and the troops are long.
IAH. Fly to Luanda a lot.was out and back, short trip, but that changed due to new FDRest rules.
ANC.Most trips start and end there.May have shorter trips...like 3 days...to Asia and back. have to own a plane to be based in ANC, taildragger with floats, skis and tundra tires are preferred.
LAX. Most trips start and end I LAX.not sure of trip lengths.
ANC junior for new FOs. Think LAX and JFK most senior.
Any corrections/additions to this info most welcome.
Namaste.

CVG is the junior base; all trips start there either operating or with a deadhead. You almost always give up a day off on the front end for gateway. Lines are all hard lines of flying or R2 (hotel reserve for those unfamiliar). At least on the FO side, domestic tends to go senior. I have no trouble as a junior guy in CVG holding NRT, SYD, TPE, etc. Schedules don't change often if you're on a regular line (excellent for those of us bidding for pay).
JFK is senior, and I've heard those guys don't often give up a day off for gateway. These cats also have R1 lines (home reserve).
