You would be surprised. It is like the flip of a switch. One day you love it and the next it is gone. One of my oldest friends shut down his plane one day, quit and never went back. He had accomplished over 5000 hours and one day decided that he had enough.
I own a plane and I can hardly get myself to go out to the hangar to even look at it anymore. I haven't flown it in years.
