Thanks...I left the big O last year for US/AA. However before I got on at US/AA, I was invited for an assessment at EY for the 777/787 FO slot. I subsequently turned it down. I had 4000tt with 1000 on the B777 at the time, and a little help from an internal US expat FO that got to know the guy in charge of hiring. They obviously look for time in type, value internal recs, and if you're qualified you just need to try to get yourself noticed. If you're interested in the ME, I think that's the best carrier to get on with for career progression.
