I would imagine so. IMO it may also be a discretionary decision based on the conversation with you and your CP. I commuted into a frozen DTW one night and within 200ft of my crashpad my transmission cooler line burst and leaked out all of the transmission fluid. I called CS, got a TBD for the trip next day and later got it converted to a CPP by the base CP. YMMV.
