I'm flying as a 747-400 Captain under "subcontract" with Saudia. I've been approached no fewer than four times in the last 12 months to come fly for Saudia under a "commuting" contract - each time I ask for specifics there is nothing provided. Also, realize there is no Union rep to go complain to when they "change" your commuting contract after six months to a non-commuting contract because it isn't working for them. You will then be faced with either dropping the job and finding another or bending to their wishes. That said if you have info on an actual commutable contract please feel free to PM or post it here and I'll certainly give you my two cents worth of opinion.
