Perhaps I should have used the word "quote" instead of the word "comment", then that would have absolved you of any wrongdoing. Of course you could have left off that offending word, but that would have been too much to expect. So it's easier to attack the person who's pointing out the faux pas, than to modify ones own behavior. I get it. Sorry if I offended your delicate sensibilities.
