Can you give a bit more detail on your schedule. I'm the scheduling committee chairman at my airline and we are working through this issue as we speak. The AA info stated that it was still open for discussion and I haven't seen much mentioned in the ALPA guide. I'm trying to get a standard set at my airline.

FWIW, my upcoming flight has a FDP of 14:45. The halfway point is at 7:22 into the FDP. The first leg is the longest and allows 4:32 of block time left between the halfway point before setting the brake on the first leg. So, both the landing pilot of the first leg and the landing pilot of the second leg requires 2 hours each on this leg. That leaves only 32 minutes to close up the bunk, descend, land and taxi in.
