While I too would like to see 'strong leadership' from dalpa, they must tread very carefully through this issue or face a lawsuit over an illegal job action. That happens, we lose.
Dalpa has said only that we have a contract in force. Know that contract and abide by it, and dalpa will back you up.
There is nothing more anyone can do than that.
