I think it works best to call crew scheduling initially and inquire. Ask to speak to a supervisor if necessary. If you don't get an answer that makes sense or they don't take the time to talk to you, call the MEC office and ask to speak to one of the scheduling consultants. Let them know you attempted to sort it out with the company, give them all the details and supporting info you have (screenshots, who you've talked to and when, etc.) and they will research it and let you know if the trip coverage was PWA compliant or not. If not, they will work to get the correct pilot who should have gotten the trip (may not be you) paid for it.

The MEC Scheduling and Contract Administration Committees put a lot of money in Delta pilot's pockets every year due to their efforts.
