Yeah I've thought of that too. I don't know the whole history but as far as I understand XJT was spun, but they kept CAL's flying. Perhaps more importantly, I assume CAL was more interested in domestic flying than Delta is claiming to be.
Anyone with the info able to offer a comparison of XJT's situation (planes, pilots, debt, etc.) when they were spun off to Comair's right now?
